Raise Your Spirit Higher (2003 album)
Raise Your Spirit Higher - Wenyukela is an album by the South African isicathamiya group Ladysmith Black Mambazo. It was released on March 5, 2003 and was the British release of the group's South African album of the same name. It was later re-released in North America in 2004. The album was expected to have (and it did have) a solemn touch (it was the first album release after the murder of leader Joseph Shabalala's wife Nellie, in May 2002).
The album (WRASS100, Wrasse Records) was critically praised and was the first release of new material since Heavenly, in 1997.
